Introduction to ISO 45001:2018, including distinguishing between needs, requirements, and expectations, identifying stakeholders, defining characteristics of OH&S performances, goal-oriented or risk-oriented organization, the 7 management principles, and planning, control, and assurance.
Context and Scope of OH&S Management System (ISO 45001:2018 Section 4), covering the context of the organization, defining the needs and expectations of workers and interested parties, determining the scope of the OH&S management system, process approach, and establishing the OH&S management system (OHSMS).
Leadership and Commitment (ISO 45001:2018 Section 5), focusing on leadership and commitment, OH&S policy, organizational roles, responsibilities and authorities, and consultation and participation of workers.
Risk and Opportunity Management (ISO 45001:2018 Section 6), addressing actions to manage risks and opportunities, hazard identification, assessment of risks and opportunities, determining legal and other requirements, OH&S objectives, and planning of actions.
Operational and Resource Management (ISO 45001:2018 Sections 7 & 8), including managing resources effectively, determining necessary competence, awareness on consequences, internal and external communication, management of documented information, operational planning process, establishing operating criteria, implementing process control, eliminating hazards, reducing OH&S risks, management of change, control of external provision of products, services, and outsourced processes, and emergency preparedness and response.
